- 1 gal. sliced squash
- 2 c. onions
- 2 large bell peppers
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 qt. vinegar
Directions

1Layer squash and sprinkle with salt until all squash are in a large container.

2Cover with cold water and soak overnight.

3Drain squash.

4Combine squash with all other ingredients and boil 3 or 4 minutes.

5Seal in hot, clean jars.
