- 8 c. yellow squash, sliced thin
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced thin
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced thin
- 2 c. onions, sliced thin
- 1 c. salt
- 2 qt. water
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. white vinegar
Directions

1Mix 1 cup salt and 2 quarts water.

2Pour over vegetables and let stand 1 hour.

3Boil 3 cups sugar and 2 cups white vinegar until syrup (about 3 minutes).

4Put vegetables in and let come to a boil.

5Remove from heat.

6Put in jars and seal.
