- 8 c. thinly sliced squash
- 2 c. thinly sliced onions
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. white vinegar
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Combine squash and onions in pan.

2Sprinkle with salt; let stand 1 hour, then drain (do not rinse).

3Mix other ingredients in pan.

4Bring to a hard boil.

5Add squash and onion; boil 15 to 20 minutes.

6Pack in jars.

7Seal jars and process in hot bath for 10 minutes.

8Yields 3 pints.
