- 2/3 c. milk, scalded
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. squash, cooked and strained
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Beat the eggs slightly.

2Add salt, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg, then the squash.

3Mix well.

4Pour into the mixture, slowly, the scalded milk.

5Line pie plate with pie crust. Pour in the squash mixture.

6Bake in slow oven for about 35 minutes.
