Ingredients
- 10 c. squash, chopped (any variety)
- 4 c. onions (purple if desired)
- 1 green and 1 red pepper, chopped
- 2 1/2 c. vinegar (apple cider)
- 5 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 tsp. celery salt
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
Directions

1Chopped squash, onion and salt may be mixed and refrigerated overnight, if desired.

2Then drain well and combine with other ingredients.

3Simmer for 30 minutes.

4Put in sterilized jars and seal.

5Makes 5 pints.
