  • 1/2 c. grated carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. canning salt
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. celery seed
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 2 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1/2 c. chopped pimentos
  • 3 c. red and green sweet peppers
