Squash Rice Casserole

- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 2 c. shredded squash (omit seed)
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- water
Directions

1Put rice in a pan; put water in pan to just cover rice.

2Cook for 5 minutes.

3Melt oleo in a 13 x 9-inch pan and layer ingredients in order given (may use more water if need be).

4Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes or until rice is done.
