  • 1 1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
  • 2 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. cooked squash or 1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen cooked squash, thawed
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 6 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted

    Sprinkle yeast over water in a large bowl; stir until dissolved.

    Stir in sugar and salt until dissolved.

    Add eggs, squash, 1/2 cup softened butter and 3 cups flour.
