Ingredients

  • 2 lb. yellow squash
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 carton sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • crackers (about 10)
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 c. dressing mix or crackers or croutons tossed with margarine

Directions

    Cook onion and squash until soft; salt.

    Drain and mash; add margarine, soup, crackers and cheese.

    Add sour cream last.

    Put in casserole dish.

    Put dressing mix on top.

    Bake at 350° until bubbly.
