  • 1 large yam
  • 2 c veggie broth
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 1 sick cinnamon
  • 3/4 t salt
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 medium size onions sliced
  • 3 large pears
  • 1/3 c sake or dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • pepper
