- 2 c. sliced yellow squash, cooked and drained
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 pkg. herb stuffing
- salt and pepper to taste
- chicken broth or water (to moisten stuffing)
Directions

1Cook and drain squash (about 10 minutes).

2Add next 5 ingredients.

3In buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, place layer of moist stuffing on bottom.

4Pour squash mixture on top of stuffing.

5Add another layer of moist stuffing.

6Dot with butter and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

7Moisten stuffing with chicken broth or water before layering.
