Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder per person plus 1 for the pot
  • 2 Tbsp. flour per Tbsp. of chili powder
  • 1 to 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • salt to taste
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • cooked, crumbled ground beef
  • shredded cheese
  • diced onions
  • tortillas (corn)
  • water

Directions

    Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet.

    Add chili powder, salt, cumin and oregano.

    Cook for 1 minute.

    In a blender, mix at low speed the flour, chicken broth and about 1 cup water.

    Pour into skillet.

    You might have to add more water to make sauce thin.

    Add garlic.

    Simmer 1/2 to 1 hour, until it thickens.
