Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bay scallops
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 3 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • cooked vermicelli

Directions

    Saute scallops in butter in large skillet for 3 minutes or until tender.

    Remove scallops from skillet and reserve drippings. Saute mushrooms, onion and garlic.

    Remove and reserve drippings. Add wine, juices and seasonings to skillet.

    Bring to a boil and cook 8 minutes.

    Add scallops and vegetables.

    Heat thoroughly. Serve over hot vermicelli.
