- 1/2 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. green olive oil
- 2 (5 oz.) lean, New York cut steaks
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 c. Italian red wine
Directions

1In a large frying pan, saute the Italian herb seasoning, onion and garlic in oil for 3 to 4 minutes.

2Flatten the steaks and serrate both sides with a sharp knife.

3Add the steaks to the pan and brown over high heat for a few minutes on each side.

4Mix the mustard with the red wine in a small bowl.

5Pour the mixture over the steaks and cook over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes (depending on your preference).

6Use a knife and fork to check the center of the steaks for pinkness.

7Serve immediately with the sauce poured over the steak.
