- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef, cut into 1 to 2-inch squares
- 1 c. olive oil
- 1 c. onions
- 1/4 c. pimientos
- 1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 cans mushroom steak sauce
- 1 c. Sauterne wine
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. bitters
- dash of hot sauce
- 1/4 c. garlic
Directions

1Put olive oil in a large pot on medium heat.

2Saute onions, pimientos, parsley and celery seed until onions are clear.

3Add mushroom steak sauce, wine, soy sauce, bitters and hot sauce.

4Add garlic after mixture is juicy.

5Turn fire down and add meat. Cover and let cook 3 to 4 hours until meat is tender.

6Serve over rice.
