  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 8 c. water
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped carrots
  • 1 tsp. crushed bouillon cube
  • 1 c. or 8 oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

    Brown and drain ground beef.

    Melt butter in a 16-cup kettle. Add flour, water, onion, celery and carrots.

    Boil down good to make soupy paste and add the remaining ingredients.

    Simmer for 1 hour.
