Ingredients

  • 2 sand dabs, clean and pat dry
  • 1 Tbsp. brown bean sauce or black bean sauce (this should be rinsed in strainer and mashed)
  • 1 slice ginger, mashed down with broad side of knife
  • 1 bean cake (sliced crosswise and in 1-inch strips)
  • soy sauce
  • salt
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Place sliced bean cake in shallow platter for steaming.

    Place the sand dabs on top of the bean cake slices.
  3. 3
    Mix the ginger with the bean sauce, then smear on the sand dabs.

    Salt and add a few drops of soy sauce.
