- 1 pkg. bacon
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 medium to large head cabbage, cut up in chunks
Directions

1Fry bacon so that it's brown and crisp.

2Save 2 to 3 tablespoons of bacon fat for flavoring.

3Cut cabbage into large chunks.

4Add cabbage, bacon fat, water and vinegar all in a crock-pot.

5Mix, then crumble the bacon on top.

6Cover and stew on low-medium for 4 hours.
