Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cups Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 can (28 Oz. Can) Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
  • 1 can (4 Oz. Can) Roasted Chili Peppers (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1- 1/2 cup Frozen Corn (optional)

Directions

    Combine the meatball ingredients together in a bowl.

    Mix well.

    Shape in 24 meatballs.

    Set aside.

    Mix sauce ingredients (except corn) together in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Add meatballs.

    Cover.

    Simmer gently for 30 minutes.

    Add corn for the last 5 minutes of cook time.

    Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.

    To adapt for a slow cooker, brown meatballs before adding them to the sauce in a slow cooker.

    Cook on low 5-6 hours.

    Note: I often use corn bread stuffing mix instead of bread crumbs.
