- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. plus 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. milk, scalded
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 egg
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Dissolve yeast in warm water.

3In large bowl, combine sugar, salt and 3 tablespoons butter.

4Pour in hot milk.

5Stir until butter is melted and sugar dissolved.

6Stir in yeast.

7Beat in egg.

8Gradually add flour, mixing well.

9Cover and let stand 15 minutes.

10Roll out dough to an 18 x 12-inch rectangle.

11Spread with butter.
