Strawberry Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 pkg. frozen strawberries (10 oz. size)
  • 1 can shredded coconut
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 4 eggs

Directions

    Blend together white cake mix and Jell-O.

    Add oil and milk. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Fold in half of the coconut, half of the nuts and half of the thawed strawberries and juice.

    Pour into 3 greased 8-inch layer pans and bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Turn out on cake racks to cool.

    Put the layers together and cover outside with frosting.
