Ingredients
- 1 qt. strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 c. heavy cream, whipped
Directions

1Crush berries.

2Add sugar and white wine.

3Stir well.

4Chill. Soften gelatin in cold water; add boiling water.

5Stir to dissolve;

6cool.

7Combine gelatin and chilled strawberry mixture; beat with rotary beater until slightly thickened.

8Fold in whipped cream.

9Turn into 2-quart ring mold.

10To serve, fill ring with additional strawberries and whipped cream.

11Garnish top with large berries.

12Yields 10 to 12 servings.
