Strawberry Nut Pound Cake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 4 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 (10 oz.) box strawberries, thawed (do not drain)

    Grease and flour Bundt pan.

    Mix ingredients well, about 3 minutes.

    Pour into pan.

    Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes (I only bake mine around 40 minutes; keep testing).

    Let cool 10 minutes before inverting on plate.

    Cover cake with Handi-Wrap. When cooled, frost cake with Cool Whip and refrigerate.
