Strawberry Pie

Directions

   Mix 1/2 of water and sugar.

   Bring to a boil.

   Add cornstarch and rest of water and sugar thoroughly mixed to the first half and boil until thick and clear.

   Remove from heat and add salt, lemon juice and coloring.

   Mix well.

   Pour this mixture over whole strawberries in pastry baked pie shell.
