  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. mashed strawberries, 1 qt. strawberries (2 little baskets)
  • whipped cream

Directions

    Mix cornstarch and sugar.

    Add strawberries to water and sugar.

    Cook until thick and clear.

    Stir in 2 to 3 drops food coloring.

    Stir in rest of strawberries (don't add water) into pie crust.

    Chill 3 hours and top with whipped cream.
