Strawberry Pie

- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. cornstarch
- 1 box (small) strawberry Jell-O
- 2 pt. strawberries, capped and sliced
- dash of salt
- 2 ready to bake pie crusts (not deep dish)
Directions

1Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and salt, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and becomes opaque.

2Remove from heat, add Jell-O, mixing well.

3Let cool 5 to 7 minutes.

4Add strawberries, pour into two already baked pie crusts and refrigerate.

5Top with Cool Whip when served.
