  • 1 baked pie crust
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • small amount milk
  • 1 qt. washed and drained strawberries
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. whipped cream

Directions

    Cream the cream cheese. Blend with a small amount of milk until soft enough to spread over bottom of pie shell.

    Put 1/2 of berries over cheese.

    Crush remaining berries; mix along with juice, 1 cup sugar and cornstarch.

    Cook this slowly until boiling point.

    Allow to cool; pour over berries in the pie shell.

    Chill. Spread whipped cream on top.
