Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 small pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1 qt. sliced strawberries
  • baked pie shell
  • cool whip or ice cream

Directions

    Mix water, sugar and cornstarch; cook until thick.

    Add jello, stir well.

    Remove from heat.

    Add strawberries.

    Let stand 10 to 15 minutes; pour into 8 inch pie shell.

    Chill in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours.

    Top with cool whip or ice cream when serving.
