- 1/2 lb. butter
- 4 c. milk
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 eggs
Directions

1Mix milk and butter in saucepan and bring to a boil.

2Add meal, salt and sugar and stir until thick. Set aside and let cool, then add the egg yolks.

3Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the other mixture.

4Pour into a baking dish and bake about 45 to 50 minutes, until browned, at 375°.

5Serve immediately.
