Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 bell peppers, cut lengthwise and deseed
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. onion, diced
  • salt, pepper and garlic to suit taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1 slice bread, moistened in a little milk

Directions

    In bowl, mix all ingredients except catsup and peppers.

    Mix well and pack bell pepper halves, rounding off tops.

    Top with catsup and bake at 325° for 1 hour or until done.
