Stuffed Bell Peppers

- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. cooked rice (1/3 c. raw)
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- Tabasco sauce
- salt and pepper
- 4 medium bell peppers
Directions

1Cook rice and set aside.

2Wash and core peppers and cook about 5 minutes.

3In large bowl, mix ground beef, rice, onion, tomato sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper.

4Pile mixture into drained peppers and arrange in casserole.

5(Peppers may be halved if desired.)

6Bake covered in 350° oven about 1 hour.

7Uncover and bake about 10 minutes more to brown.
