Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 c. cooked rice (1/3 c. raw)
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • Tabasco sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 medium bell peppers

Directions

    Cook rice and set aside.

    Wash and core peppers and cook about 5 minutes.

    In large bowl, mix ground beef, rice, onion, tomato sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper.

    Pile mixture into drained peppers and arrange in casserole.

    (Peppers may be halved if desired.)

    Bake covered in 350° oven about 1 hour.

    Uncover and bake about 10 minutes more to brown.
