- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 egg
- 1 can tomato paste or sauce
Directions

1Parboil cabbage leaves (about 5 minutes).

2Mix onion, rice and egg; add to ground beef.

3Salt and pepper.

4Mix thoroughly. Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons of mixture into cabbage leaf.

5Arrange in Dutch oven.
