- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 c. water
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. sugar
- salt
- pepper
- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground chuck
Directions

1Steam cabbage until tender (cut around core).

2Brown bacon. Add and cook onion, minced garlic and green pepper.

3Pour rice into mixture.

4Add water.

5Cook until water is gone.

6Dump mixture into raw meat.

7Mix thoroughly.

8Add salt and pepper to taste.

9Roll in cabbage leaves which have hard vein removed.

10Cook on low 45 minutes.

11Add tomato soup mixed with vinegar and sugar.

12Cook 1 hour more.
