Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 cup cooked rice
- 12 medium cabbage leaf
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions

1In mixing bowl combine egg,milk,onion, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper; mix well.

2Add ground meat and cooked rice; mix well.

3Remove center vein of cabbage leaves, keeping each leaf in one piece.

4Immerse leaves in boiling water till limp, about 3 minutes; drain.

5Place 1/2 cup meat mixture on each large leaf or 1/4 cup on each medium leaf; fold in sides.

6Starting at unolded edge, roll up each leaf making sure folded sides are included in roll.

7Arrange in a 9 x 13 pan.

8Stir together soup, brown sugar, and lemon juice; pour sauce mixture over cabbage rolls.

9Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 1/4 hours, basting once or twice with sauce.
