- 1 medium cabbage
- 2 c. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 c. raw white rice
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2/3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 can tomatoes
Directions

1Gently pull off cabbage leaves.

2Simmer in 1-inch boiling water for 5 minutes.

3Drain and lay out, ready for filling. Combine meat with egg, onion, rice and seasonings.

4Fill leaves loosely with mixture.

5Roll up each, folding leaves under.

6Place in a greased skillet.

7Sprinkle with cheese.

8Drain tomatoes, place on edge.

9Pour in 1 cup liquid.

10Cook on high until steam appears.

11Turn to simmer for 1 hour.
