- 4 medium size mirlitons
- 1 bunch shallots
- bread crumbs
- 1 stick butter
- 1 lb. fresh shrimp
- black pepper and salt
Directions

1Boil mirlitons until tender.

2Scrape from shell when cool, reserving shells.

3Remove large seed.

4In large iron skillet, place butter, seasonings, shrimp (cleaned) and mirliton pulp.

5Mix well and let cook until tender and well blended.

6Add 1/2 cup bread crumbs.

7Blend well.

8Stuff into shells and top with bread crumbs and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
