- 12 large fresh mushrooms
- 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
- salt and pepper
- 3 Tbsp. minced peeled onion
- 1/2 c. pkg. plain dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 c. finely chopped fresh parsley
- 3 Tbsp. cream
- 1/3 c. grated Swiss cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Remove stems from mushrooms and reserve. Brush mushroom caps with butter and place hollow side up on baking dish.

3Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

4Finely chop the stems and add to remaining butter with onion.

5Cook over medium heat until onions are softened.

6Remove pan from heat, stir in bread crumbs, parsley and cream.

7Season with 1/8 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

8Fill caps and top with grated cheese.

9Bake about 15 minutes until mushrooms are tender and cheese is melted.

10Serve hot.
