  • 1 lb. fresh medium mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce or 1 tsp. Worcestershire and 1 tsp. white wine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. or 1 oz. shredded American cheese
  • melted margarine

Directions

    Clean mushrooms.

    Remove stems and chop.

    Reserve caps.

    Saute veggies and mushroom stems in 1/4 cup margarine in a skillet until tender.

    Stir in Worcestershire sauce, wine, salt and pepper.
