Stuffed Mushrooms

  • 1 doz. fresh mushrooms
  • 2 slices bread (in crumbs)
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

Directions

    Tear bread into crumbs; place in saucepan.

    Add butter, onion and soy sauce; mix well over low heat.

    Pull stems off mushrooms and scoop out or hollow the mushrooms.

    Cut mushroom stems in pieces and add to mix.

    Cook 2 minutes on low heat.

    Spoon mix into mushroom caps and bake at 400° for 5 minutes in a shallow dish, then place in broiler for 3 minutes, until toasted.

    Serve warm.
