- 1 lb. large fresh mushrooms*
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Rinse mushrooms and pat dry.

2Remove stems; chop and set aside.

3In large skillet, melt butter.

4Brush mushroom caps with melted butter; place on lightly buttered shallow baking pan.

5To remaining butter, add onions and mushroom stems.

6Saute 2 minutes. Add crumbs, cheese, nuts, parsley, salt and pepper; stir.

7Spoon into mushroom caps, piling high.

8Bake at 350° until hot, about 20 minutes.
