- 6 large Vidalia or Bermuda onions
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cornbread stuffing mix
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese (sharp)
Directions

1Peel onions and cut small slice from top and bottom.

2Slice each onion into 6 wedges, cutting to within 1/2-inch of bottom. Set aside.

3Prepare stuffing mix by directions on package. Cool. Stir in cheese.

4Fill onions with mixture.

5Wrap each onion in aluminum foil. Place in a 13 x 9 1/2-inch baking dish.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until tender.

7Yields 6 servings.
