Stuffed Pasta Shells

- 1 lb. jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb. ground beef round
- 1/2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
- 2/3 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg, beaten
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 4 c. Italian tomato sauce
- 3/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Cook shells in salted boiling water for 10 minutes.

2Drain and rinse.

3Preheat oven to 350°.

4Dice half Mozzarella cheese; slice the rest.

5In large skillet, brown ground round and sausage and drain off grease.

6Add bread crumbs, milk, parsley, egg and diced Mozzarella cheese to the meat and mix well.

7Season to taste with salt and pepper.

8Fill cooked shells with meat mixture.

9Place half tomato sauce in a shallow 3-quart baking dish.

10Place stuffed shells in dish; top with remaining sauce and sliced Mozzarella. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.

11Serve with Parmesan cheese.
