  • 6 green peppers
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. mixed vegetables, do not drain
  • 1 c. rice, cooked
  • 2 c. tomato sauce

Directions

    Cut tops off peppers and wash.

    Put peppers in hot water until tender.

    Brown ground beef and drain.
  4. 4
    Put hamburger back in skillet and add vegetables and rice.

    Add about 1 cup of tomato sauce.

    Stir well and simmer, about 15 minutes.

    Place peppers in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Spoon hamburger mixture into peppers until full.

    Place remaining filling around peppers in dish.

    Bake in a 350° oven for about 10 minutes. Add remaining tomato sauce spooned on top of peppers and bake about 15 minutes longer.
