- 6 green peppers
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. mixed vegetables, do not drain
- 1 c. rice, cooked
- 2 c. tomato sauce
Directions

1Cut tops off peppers and wash.

2Put peppers in hot water until tender.

3Brown ground beef and drain.

4Put hamburger back in skillet and add vegetables and rice.

5Add about 1 cup of tomato sauce.

6Stir well and simmer, about 15 minutes.

7Place peppers in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

8Spoon hamburger mixture into peppers until full.

9Place remaining filling around peppers in dish.

10Bake in a 350° oven for about 10 minutes. Add remaining tomato sauce spooned on top of peppers and bake about 15 minutes longer.
