Ingredients
- 6 large green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, minced
- 3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. bread crumbs or cooked rice
- 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1Cut off top of each pepper.

2Remove seeds.

3Cover peppers in boiling, salt water and cook 5 minutes.

4Drain.

5Cook beef, onion and garlic in skillet over medium heat; stir to crumble meat.

6Add tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes.

7Add remaining ingredients, except bread crumbs, and stir well.

8Stuff peppers with beef mixture. Place in shallow baking dish and top with bread crumbs.

9Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
