- 4 green peppers
- 1 c. ground beef
- 1 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. butter
- bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cut stems; remove seeds from peppers.

2Parboil peppers for 2 minutes and drop into cold water.

3Combine tomatoes and meat with enough crumbs to make a thick stuffing.

4Heat stuffing in frying pan with oil and butter.

5Season to taste.

6Fill peppers and put into pan just large enough to hold them upright.

7Pour in 1 cup hot water and bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350°.
