- 6 medium green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. fat
- 2 c. stewed tomatoes
- 3/4 c. precooked rice
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. sharp cheese, shredded
Directions

1Core and clean peppers.

2Leave whole.

3Parboil 5 minutes. Brown meat and onion in fat.

4Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste.

5Cover and simmer until rice is almost tender.

6Add cheese.

7Stuff peppers and stand upright in baking dish.

8Bake, uncovered, at 320° for 25 minutes or until hot.

9Sprinkle with more cheese; let melt.
