  • 6 green peppers, cleaned
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. rice
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 3 c. tomato sauce

Directions

    Brown meat, onion and seasonings. Add 1 cup tomato sauce, 1/2 cup milk, egg, 1/4 cup catsup, 3/4 cup rice and 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stuff peppers. Place in roaster or Dutch oven. Cover with 2 cups tomato sauce, 3/4 cup catsup and 1/2 cup water. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
