  • 6 green peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. tomatoes or juice
  • 3/4 c. rice, precooked
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • American cheese

Directions

    Cut tops off peppers.

    Remove seeds and membrane.

    Brown meat and onion.

    Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

    Cover and simmer until rice is tender, 5 minutes.

    Add cheese.

    Stuff peppers;

    cover with tops.

    Stand upright in baking dish.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
