- 5 or 6 green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. rice, cooked (2/3 c. raw)
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
Directions

1Cut pepper in half lengthwise.

2Remove seeds and wash. Combine beef, cooked rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can Hunt's tomato sauce.

3Put mixture into peppers in large baking dish. Pour Hunt's tomato sauce over each pepper.

4Cover tightly and bake in moderate oven (350°) for 1 1/4 hours or until peppers are tender, basting occasionally.
