- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 16 oz. can tomatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. shredded American cheese
Directions

1Clean and prepare peppers.

2Cook in boiling water 5 minutes. Take out and drain.

3In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned slightly and veggies tender.

4Drain off fat. Add tomatoes and uncooked rice, water, salt and Worcestershire sauce and a dash of pepper.

5Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 to 18 minutes or until rice is tender.

6Take off heat and stir in cheese.

7Stuff peppers.

8Bake, covered, at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
